Renfrewshire Law Centre provides legal advice and assistance and representation at courts and tribunals for residents of Renfrewshire and part of East Renfrewshire in cases falling under local jurisdiction.
Renfrewshire includes the following towns and villages: Paisley, Renfrew, Johnstone, Bishopton, Bridge of Weir, Brookfield, Elderslie, Erskine, Houston, Howwood, Inchinnan, Kilbarchan, Langbank, Linwood, and Lochwinnoch.
We will also provide representation for tenants of East Renfrewshire Council and East Renfrewshire housing associations in cases falling under the jurisdiction of Paisley Sheriff Court.
We will provide representation for local residents at the Employment Tribunal serving the West of Scotland, which is based in Glasgow, and at the Social Security Appeals Tribunal serving the same area, which is also based in Glasgow.
We are able to arrange representation at the Court of Session (Scotland’s Supreme Court) in appropriate cases.
Renfrewshire Law Centre has the largest geographical catchment area of any Scottish community law centre.
